Katie Croft (B. 2004) is a British Figurative oil painter and mixed media artist currently studying Fine art in London at Chelsea College of Arts.

Her paintings explore the tension between internal identity and external expectation, using the human form as a site through which contemporary beauty standards are both examined and challenged. Working primarily in oil alongside mixed media processes, she constructs figures that exist between vulnerability and distortion, reflecting the psychological impact of societal ideals on self-perception.

Drawing on personal experience as well as wider cultural narratives, her work considers how beauty is shaped, Performed and internalised. Through layered surfaces and an emphasis on texture and mark-making, she seeks to disrupt conventional representations of the body, creating images that feel both intimate and uneasy.
